How ATX Mini Split gathers information, how listings change, and how to get something corrected.

Where the facts come from

Two sources only: the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation license roster, and each company's own website. We do not publish reviews we have not verified, we do not call companies posing as customers, and we do not accept information privately in exchange for placement.

How rankings work

No company pays to be listed, ranked or removed. ATX Mini Split is owned by the operators of Mini Split Reef; that company appears only in ads labeled Ad and is never scored. The ranking formula is published in full on How we rank.

Update schedule

Licenses are re-checked against TDLR every time the site is rebuilt. Company websites were last read on October 4, 2026. A company whose license lapses is removed from the rankings at the next rebuild.

Corrections

If something about your company is wrong, publish the correct information on your own website and email info@atxminisplit.com with the page link. We re-read the site and update the listing; we do not change a listing based on a claim we cannot see on your site.

Removal

A licensed company may ask to have its profile page removed. Its license will still appear in the county license directory, which is a public record.
